Simply Delicious Fries – Using an Air Fryer
Simple French Fries made with very little oil using an Air Fryer. A healthier alternative to deep fried french fries.

Large Red Skin Potatoes
any potato will do
canola oil or coconut oil are alternatives
Sea Salt to taste
Cut potatoes into short, thin strips, leaving skin on.
Toss potatoes with olive oil to lightly coat on all sides, approximately 2 tbsp.
Place is basket of Air Fryer. Set temperature to 350°F for 10 minutes. At the 5 minute mark, take the basket out and shake/toss the contents. This will help the fries to cook more evenly.
Set temperature to 375°F for 10 minutes. Remove the basket and toss 2-3 times during the 10 minute period.
Remove fries from air fryer and place on cookie sheet.
Toss half of the fries in olive oil to coat (approx. 1-2 tbsp). Return to Air Fryer basket.
Set temperature to 400°F and cook for 5-10 minutes. Every 2-3 minutes, toss the fries and check for doneness.
Remove from fryer. Place on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with Sea Salt to your taste.
Repeat steps 6-8 with the second half of fries.
For more flavorful fries, toss with granulated garlic or seasoning salt before cooking.
